Mr. Bennie Dainels Sr.

Father, we stretch our hands to Thee, No other help we know;  If you withdraw yourself from us, we have nowhere to go.  It is with heavy hearts, the Davis Funeral Home 301 North Oak street; Ocilla Georgia 31774, pause to announce the death and Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Bennie Dainels Sr. of 1601 Alderman Drive, Douglas Georgia 31533.  Born Friday February 27, 1948 to the late Mrs. Eula Mae Johnson Daniels and the late Mr. Gilbert Daniels.  Mr. Daniels received God's call to his everlasting home on Thursday April 9, 2026 at Wilson's Health Care Center in Albany Georgia.  He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted Wife: Mrs. Evan Goolsby Daniels of Douglas Georgia. Their children: Mr. Bennie Wilson of Fitzgerald Georgia, Mr. Dwight Daniels of Ocilla Georgia, Mr. Bennie Daniels Jr. of Ocilla Georgia, Ms. Sheena Nacole Jenkins of Ocilla Georgia, Mr. Torris Ellis of Ocilla Georgia,  Mrs. LaKosha and Mr. Marlon Riley of Douglas Georgia, and his God children: Mr. King Curtis of Broxton Georgia, Ms. Lara Michelle Daniels of Ashburn Georgia, and Zendaya Wright of Douglas, Georgia.  His sisters: Mrs. Ethel Byrd of Atlanta Georgia and Ms. Annie B. Daniels of Ocilla Georgia along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Bennie Daniels Sr. is planned for Saturday April 18, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. from the Pleasant Grove 1st Baptist Church 217 East 7th street, Ocilla Georgia where Rev. James C. Curtis Sr. serves as Pastor and will deliver the Eulogy and Committal.  Mr. Daniels will lie in state at the Davis Funeral Home in Ocilla, Friday morning 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Saturday morning 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.  Interment will follow in the Ocilla City Cemetery at 700 North Oak Street in Ocilla.  The Davis Funeral Home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements for Mr. Bennie Daniels Sr.  Please continue to pray for the Goolsby and Daniels Families.
